Elk of Month : January 2025

Our Elk of the month of January is Jesicca Fernandez. Jes had another incredible YAC event for the children for Christmas. It was Jes’s vision, along with all the hard work of the rest of the committee and volunteers that made this possible. But it’s not just one event, it’s the hard work that Jes continues to put in as chair of our YAC committee. Jes is extremely at the district level and has given our lodge great exposure with district YAC events.

Our Lodge now participates in the Karen Minutella Reading Initiative. For the past two years Jes along with JoAnn Molnar have been going to Matthew Jago School to read to the 3rd graders and presents them with reading books. Our Lodge also participates in the annual Elks Somerset Patriots Day. Our lodge leads the district in candy sales which is a major fundraiser for the district YAC.
